MY NEON ARM CANDY

NEON LOVE-I ordered a couple of things from Zovi and am absolutely in love with the laptop bag I received.I have absolutely nothing in a Neon true colour. So here it is - Its a vibrant colour teamed with a perky pink :) Its lightweight compact bag with a not so delicate handle. Good grip.

NEW LAPTOP BAG
This my friends is a prized purchase from a sale at Promod
got it at half price_>> quite  a bargain eh!
SO this is a "2 TIMING OWL " Like I prefer to call it.heehee
Well useful if you are working for an international client or have family/friends staying in different time zones or just for kicks.

Gift From Singapore- Its a beautiful Pink & Brown satchel..made my eyes pop the moment I opened its packing :)

Cloudy with a chance of Uber chic'ness

Talk about the world being a small place--------- A desi girl holdin an umbrella with the famous Colosseum from ROME printed all over standing on a property named something---MANHATTan wearing a vest bought from PaRIS & not to mention ta locket m wearing- a gift from DOWN Under (ul c in ta next pic)hahahaha how cool is that
Once the rains wash everything squeaky clean -its even more encouraging to capture the lush green.
Talk about being at the right place at the right time -VIOLA --colloseum on my um-ba-re-lla--ela-eh -eh...You found me -*talking to my UMBRELLA*

You're part of my entity, here for Infinity
When the war has took it's part
When the world has dealt it's cards
If the hand is hard, together we'll mend your heart,
Because
When the sun shines, we’ll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be a friend
Took an oath I'ma stick it out till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrellaCloudy with a chance of Uber chic'ness

Bewitched by Chanels Metiers d'art collection

Paris-Bombay romance by Karl Lagerfield who finally understood that fashion in India means wearable stuff! I gathered alll the pictures which i loved. As you will soon see the grandeur unfold -finally these are clothes "on the runway' which are actually wearable. The Chanels Grand Palais home transformed to# what I would say fit the theme he worked so hard towards-# The Grand MAHARAJA Era! I was left astounded just taking in the magnificience of the transformation of the interiors which sailed smoothly into a surreal world for the guests, waiting for high tea. Models adorning  mangtikka which is such a gorgeous traditional jewellery with their abyssal kohl'ed eyes - think its  making a come back  thanks to KARL jee!!

Perfect EXAMPLE OF GLOBALISATION when you see a Chanel Tweed jacket with a Nehru Collar  done up in neons.

Its great to see that Karl Lagerfeld has infused all the extravagance and over-the-top theatrics of the regular show season in this off the runway soiree.A complete royal & magical experience even though it was held in a restricted space.Actually that worked in his favour.Seeing is believeing & I I did get to watch the show on television. This silver toy train with tracks spread around the table, was actually carrying some colourful liqueurs on the lavish buffet spread to the delight of the guests which included Sonam Kapoor -our own high fashion girl from Bollywood.
The models strutted in regal shades of fuchsia, snowy white, gold and silver left everyone gasping for more fabric witchery.

Most of the outfits were inspired by Coco Chanels idea of India from the 60's as Karl L has never actually been here. Well he has not only captured the essence but has classicaly married the fundamentals of PAREE & MUMBAI fashion-wise. Most of the outfits are influenced by mens Indian attire & sarees have been transformed into easy wear drape for a non-saree wearer.I read somewhere that they were metallic evening gowns cut to look like a saree. How innovative!!
He also feels Indian men's outfits are easier to wear compared to the Indian Women-HMM so he means we Indian women deffy take a lot of pain while dressing up---noones complaining, as we love to GLAM up!

Understated style!

Some jewellery from the collection---each jewellery item's "made in house"--EACH PIECE SPELLS ELABORATE DETAILING.
GLITZ & Glamour conspired from the heritage of the robust MUGHALS & MARATHAS paying homage to the Indian textile industry.

<<<<Mens outfits-more than regal!

<<<<<--Maintaining an earthy appeal
An EYEFUL of TRENDING!

Next time please invite me KARL :D
P.S.--For all we know our JANta will start taking STYLE more seriously !!!!Just pulling something from your wardrobe & dabbing on & dragging through life without giving yourself a second chance is out of fashion.
Obviously we all cant afford the eye watering prices a Chanel or Prada puts on their label but hey we can get a good stylist to help you shed your everyday boring look & inhibitions bout fashion that too without putting a dent in your pocket-Well for that contact me ! Leaving you with this Rosy satchel for now.....Bewitched by CHANELS mETIERS D'art Collection

Dress to Impress Yourself

Dress to Impress Yourself

If you have a question which goes like "what goes best with my figure?" ,then the answer is here---lOOK IN THE MIRROR & MAKE AN HONEST ASSESSMENT OF YOUR BODY----Embrace your shape and who you are.
BE OPEN TO EXPERIMENTING WITH NEW SILHOUETTES
Pieces you've always shunned could end up being the most flattering-you never know babey ;)
Consider the pieces you feel most comfortable in & incorporate them in your wardrobe.
Dresses?trousers? Long-maxi skirts? Jeans? Button- ups? Sweaters? Scarves? Shrugs?
Then focus on finding the best cuts for you.

Accept the parts you are less than thrilled with and dress to DE-emphasize them----If your Busty-
invoke your inner Vintage Diva and go for a romantic dress. Wear a top with a structured bodice & A-line skirt.
If you have great legs show-em off!!!

If you have an athletic or lean body wear loose tops and shorts. (not always!!) .

I would say always go with your inner instinct with what you wanna wear--if your confident then it will show as an end result! Also if ur a fun person use loadsa colour in your dressing----black is passe--so what if you have love handles--wear short shrugs to hide em!

If you wanna look tall -try and wear one colour from top to bottom or  use fabrics which have the famous vertical lines which also give you a slimmer appearance!

Use Scarves to accessorize-- it changes the look of the outfit completely and is a multi - purpose tool !

Remove sometime for your own body !!PLease Exercise --do Yoga regularly-------or just DANCE it out------make this your mantra "be fit"---the best remedy to cut stress out of our lives and also adds the glow on your face--giving a radiant complexion -Eat healthy !!!Have loadsa anti-oxidants to pump out toxins from your body!!! Most of the ailments are an output of you ignoring the signs your body gives out. Give your body rest when required.I have read all of the above from trusted resources and have personally experienced the same too.
The earlier you realise the importance of exercise in life the better--remember how fit you were during your school days--ever rememeber having to face problems like fatigue ,stress, insomnia  etc-NO-bcoz we never had to deal with deadlines & heart breaks-it was just fun & friends & going on little vacations with parents to our native places to visit grandparents and cousins.
Where is that carefree life gone?
I still try and follow my heart here---have loadsa short weekend trips --actually drag my friends for these small much required breaks---- nothing distresses me more than GOaaaaaAAA (my 2nd home so i prefer to cal it) Try and lead a healthy life-spend time with people you love the most and seriously just ignore the ones who cause trouble more than give you peace of mind.Try to be a nice human being rather than a good-looking plastic hearted snob.Make new friends, take your pets for a walk, talk to your pets about issues which are beyond control(try it-it works -sometimes makes u laugh on yourself & mostly u get THE LOOK from your pet which says*OMG SHES LOST IT*)pursue ur hobbies, do some gardening, create something-anything, play with your children, cook for people you love, act stupid and go window shopping if you out of cash, don't use credit-cards when shopping for clothes & accessories & such not so important things(i havent till today n m so proud of it) make plans to go visit places on the map--get out of your comfort zone but don't take life-threatening risks.Be stupid but not foolish.Know your limits & set some.TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE!!
Know your assets- Whether it's a spotless complexion, well sculpted arms, beautiful eyes, swan - like neck, gorgeous curly hair, a wasp like waist, long legs, great smile anything ---just dress to capture the essence of those features.Everyone has one unique quality which sets you apart from others.
yOU aRE bEAutiFUL Just Accept thIS FACT of LIFE!
