Monsoons act like cupid or they are cupid !!I just feel too romantic when it rains--I dont know why Go Figure!Actually my favourite time of the year !Water Water evrywhere YAY!
A steamy cup of tea and some cookies with a book in one hand just make my rockbottom day hit a rocket high in seconds !!
I eat a lot because am so happy and hungry all the time grrrr hehehe some things don't work in your favour always okkkk !! m not complaining.
The best thing about the rainy season-- you can get drenched in its glory even without stepping out.
You can just experience it without getting wet --HOW ?
When the soil gets wet after a shower and being burned dry from the scorching sun--when it soaks in the rainwater, there's the famous gorgeous aroma it gives out " DHEEME DHEEMI KHUSBOO' (Hindi), unbeatable feeling, its a different high you experience- stop and enjoy it ,smile a little,hold hands with someone watch the sunset and boats on the sea, go for a weekend short trek with friends , do a raindance.
Drive around town just for a day maybe or go to your favourite hotspot from college days which you rarely find time to visit. Just do those do-able things. It rains in India for about 4 odd months and every year its different. Sometimes we have to pray hard to please the rain god. This year its been a pleasant downpour well for most of us - except the wrath raingod has evoked in the Northern states of India.
That was a sad unpreparedness from our natural disaster & calamity relief team.
Hope those people get back to a normal life soon. A silent prayer for them.

Well whether you like it or not I know you all get drenced in the rains -even when you sitting at home ---Here's HOW...
When your eyes sparkle bright with the reflections from new colours you suddenly see after rain washes away the dirt and stress from nature,its a brand new world out there, when you see small children splash water by stompping their feet ridiculously happy, when you hear children giggle when water drops fall straight in their open mouths, even when you see a rainbow, you feel lucky to have spotted it, when you see colourfull gumboots, raincoats,umbrellas in tow and people trying to evade the puddles while driving their bikes, oh thats the best. Its crazy isn't it? All this you get to see sitting at home by just gazing through your office window or home. When you experience this you get drenched in the very misty feeling the raingods spread.
Well this monson I made a short weekend trip to Lavasa in Pune with my family!! Well we were wet and cold the whole day WILLINGLY*-- changed clothes at least thrice in a day and enjoyed driving through the clouds, seeing waterfalls, feeling the romance in the air,lush greenery , constant pitter patter of rains ,danced, played some indoor and outdoor games, boating, troubled my kid by stealing kisses every minute of the day making his cheeks red and woke up to a fresh sunny & wet morning the next day. The cherry on top was the rainbow we experienced.
We did this by pushing aside some work which we always have evry weekend.Something or the other comes up --Grrrr but we DID IT!! yay!
So you Go OUT ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS...........Here is to growing flowers on my head CHEERS (check the snaps for what I mean*-- The flower wreath on my head)
