My Shopaholics Anonymous: hOW i TURNED VINTAGE ORANGE THIS YEAR

It all ended with a heavenly DBL Chocolate Fondant n Mascarpone n loadsa X0X0.But how it began was even more interesting-My shopping started almost 3 weeks ago. Had a fab haircut thanks to a friend who I met after ages. She goes by a lovely name- Zahabia. Spent that day with that crazy shopaholic -ok she really makes me feel other people like me exist in this world.It was like she was the vessel who would lead me to one of the quintessentials to complete my look on my Beeday.We entered this store with loadsa funky stuff.#before entering#She stood outside n said -"See this is the store we shudnt enter"..hahah n then pushed open the door n let us in. Quick as a little mouse she laid her bright twinkling eyes on this osum Fedora hat & all my attention was then focussed on her trying differents colours n shapes n she picked this golden brown weave which suited her high spirit after I approved hands down !!Meanwhile I started checking out stuff & what caught my eye was a brilliant neckpiece. I got Vintage - Victorian jewellery for keeps--while I do the happy dance heres a visual treat.

Phenomenal isn't it------happy dance again.SO then I visit Lifestyle with a voucher we got from our last Home DEcor shopping and ended up picking a cool deep jade green pair of clingy denims -Ginger and 2 lovely scarves! Ok now I need something to go with em right --so I meet my hubby after this short stint of shopping and its almost 8.30pm :X So he suggests that we shud come back tomo for a quick round and am like NOway!1st I had to browse through some latest Indian attire designs for a client. So I do that. Then checking my watch and hell-its little past 9pm . I am also browsing through this window of Forever New and my eyes fall on a lovely laptop bag Navy & Mint-looks uber chic.So I pick it. Also I quickly take my hubby to ta store next door wILLS & show him a nice linen super faded yellow shirt for him( I'd made a mental note of picking ta last time I was in ta store)-again used a bit of a voucher from the last shopping :D .Moving on its 9.30pm and I still havent picked up something that'll set my mood right like "yes I have got it" right! So I have a choice need to hop in one store before they pull the 'CLOSED"sign-ZARA it is, nothing else beats my love for this brand. After picking up loadsa clothes for trial my eyes fall on this rack which held extraordinary colours--super yellow,electric blue & MY ORANGE---also thr was a dull white calling me but I loved the style n cut of the ORANGE--so tried it on -luckily I was wearing something white which complemented the ORANGE & it was mine for keeps.Back to base and fews days passed by and a day before my "u r old again reminder day' I was unwell -yaaa-but I jus rested myself -you know beauty sleep n all hehee and D day arrived --loadsa phone calls--feels great that u have so many people thinking of u all on 1 day!!Thee day took a grand spa-ing appointment , felt so bloody relaxed n rejuvenated. Then hopped in for a little nail painting session. Rushed home & it was time to put all the above on--OH I was missing SHOES wasn't I??--so hopped in a shopping complex just beside the hotel we went for dinner SAY 20MIN BEFORE OUR RESERVATION TIME ;)

--this is the 2nd last minute shoe shopping and that too in the manner "hold ta door n let me in please I won't take much time" manner. I got these winter blue beauties in suede n boy r they comfortable or what-ClaRKS always comfortable.

To top it all was pampered by none other than ta exec sous chef at Preggo-friend of my hubs -received a freshly baked cake from them too.Birthdays just keep getting better every year for me.And hey shopping doesn hav to stop there--nowadays m into buying cute stuff for my home- wait for those posts-soon-loadsa luvvvvv from me n my new found ORANGE PASSION!
